In Zermatt, all vehicles must be fully electric; high load and highest demands for material in Zermatt’s mountain environment: low temperatures, steep inclines
- Special Challenge
Equipping all existing electric vehicles in Zermatt with Li-Ion: ski buses, cabs, commercial vehicles for the municipal sector and transport vehicles of resident companies.
- Solution
Close cooperation with the manufacturer Stimbo on site
1st step: Equipping the ski buses with TRIATHLON lithium-ion batteries, The vehicles have been in use for 4 years!
2nd step: Taxi, tipper, transporter … – altogether approx. 15-20 vehicles Additionally: Equipment of the hotel cab for the fairy tale hotel, near Zermatt.
From planning to deployment in only 16 weeks (!)
