From its location in Dallas, Texas, TRIATHLON USA typically supplies customers in North and Central America with energy storage systems. Increasingly, companies in Latin America are also switching to modern Li-ion technology. An agile and flexible service and training schedule accompanies this process - and is on site at the customer's request within the shortest possible time, over thousands of kilometers.

TRIATHLON Motive Power customers from Latin America are true pioneers in the field of drive technology. They dare to change from the well-known, conventional lead-acid batteries to modern lithium-ion battery systems. Our flexible and responsive service and training team is on hand quickly in these situations to guide the process with professional service and technical training.

Building an efficient training team for an entire continent requires reliable on-site technical communication, training materials in different language versions, and complete after-sales documentation. The key is to have an open dialogue with a diverse group of people – ranging from on-site technicians to company customer service representatives, regional trainers to company managers from Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Argentina or Uruguay. At the same time, the assignments in culturally and linguistically diverse countries thousands of kilometers away are not only challenging – but also absolutely rewarding and enriching.

Supporting a technology change in a foreign market requires close cooperation, mutual trust, consistent orientation to established protocols, and processes that are reliable but also responsive to the customer’s requirements. The decisive factor was that the TRIATHLON team really showed a high level of commitment in terms of availability and accessibility for the customer. Among other things, materials were not only translated into the respective languages, but direct contact was also made in the customer’s language wherever possible.

The start of the special unit for service & training was 5 years ago – back then in Mexico. The reach has now expanded to 8 countries in Latin America and well over a dozen companies. In the coming years, the range of services will be successively expanded.
